Whoops - Meat in the Sandwich

This might have happened last year about August......   I stopped at the lights and the lady behind me didn't which shunted me into the lady in front (she drove off though).  Suspected txter...... meant I was without a car for a month or so....it was really amazing how much damage it caused to even the underneath structure of the car.

Been Fishing!!

On Tuesday 19th, my brothers rang and disturbed my sleep in - I am on holiday!! Anyway they picked me up at 8.30am and we headed for Bluff to go for a day's fishing with brothers wifes uncle... great day - it started off a bit choppy or sloppy as the fishermen call it... and we weren't catching anything. So headed off to another spot and started dragging them up like flies in this one very little spot.

Had to give way to this big ship - don't know what it was carrying.

Southland Rowing Regatta

Am currently organising a Southland Legion of Rowers Regatta for this Saturday and Sunday. Will be a very interesting day for everyone. Hopefully the weather leaves a lasting impression - we don't mind if it is cold as long as the water is flat.

Scary thing is my coach has entered me for two races on Saturday.... one of them is a 1km race...will be interesting.
