18th September Snow Fall

Well, I have had an interesting morning. This is the heaviest snow fall I have seen, in fact we even measured it's depth.... 18cm thick.... Events as follows:
Went to milking at 5am and the road was clear by 9am the snow was falling fast and thick.
Better go home at 10.30am as I might not make it.... the car had 3 inches on the roof alone.
Drove down the road carefully and whoops into the bank as I turned the corner. Only to find that 50m behind me a milk tanker had done the same thing. The farmer I milked for was able to pull me out.
Got back to the farm and we couldn't go up the drive, another milk tanker had jackkifed.
A friend came and picked me up. Photos of when I got home.

Album Tags

Saw a picture in a magazine of a metal bookmark which gave me the following idea.

Thought you scrapbookers might be interested. An idea to be able to go straight to the year/function you need. You don't have to be Year specific, you might have an album for a persons wedding.

On the reverse of the Year 2010 Album Tag I have decorated it.

Last lot of Scrapbooking

Over the last couple of months I have been trying to get my brother Robert's Wedding album finished. Here are a few pages of the final product.

Scrapbooking up to date!!!

Yes, you would never believe it but I am up-to-date with all my scrapbooking!!! Wondering why... I purchased some GREAT software that I wanted to load onto my computer so... disaplined myself (had to do) to not install it until all my photos were scrapbooked..... thus my desk is nice and tidy for a change.

Here's the software, check out the website. Due to no boundaries with scrapbooking, I have seen many pieces of software when creating digital scrapbooks that I was reluctant to use ..... I finally found this software at the local craft show. It is from Creative Memories .... each month there are free downloads/templates/embellishments and much more so you are not bound to just specific pictures and words (like some software), you can add embellishments as well, just like normal scrapbooking.
