Current Project

Yes, I was inspired by a friends 21st as well as the costumes in Audre Rieu's orchestra to make a costume myself.

Here's a few photos of the outcome. Its a black hooded cape with 14 metres of material and heavy. The dress has 11 pieces in each sleeve alone.
About to put it on...
At work the Hairdressing students aren't allowed to charge yet... so took the opportunity to have some "ME" time... wash, dry, and style....heres the outcome.... with a whole can of hairspray I don't think it wants to come down even now!!

An Award ----"For Me!!" Wow

Me, just the little country bumpkin, got an award from a great friend and more like a big sister. Thank you Rachel, your words of wisdom brought a few tears...
Anyway heres my award...

The Love my Friends Award is given to those bloggers who aspire, inspire and share the most beautiful of human attributes: art, wisdom and friendship. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more.

That is a tough goal to aim for ... art.... wisdom and friendship. Well, lets try one at a time.

Now for the eight bloggers, will have to think about this one - I have many who I would like to mention but they aren't yet bloggers - perhaps some words of wisdom could come in handy.

Here goes....

A great friend who has an enormous artistic talent and friendship, but she also got wisdom and grace off her Mother, is Rachel. Who has inspired me with her blog, scrapbooking, family values and sharing of many a tale.

Kaye, who is Rachel's mother. Although she doesn't have time in her busy schedule for a lot of blogging, she is like a mother to me. Appreciate her most inspiring wisdom and friendship...we share our art together.

How I would have to add my MUM in here she has art, wisdom and friendship all mixed up together. Although she doesn't have a blog here is a piece of her artwork.

Carol, my sister who I miss dearly. Her blog is very sporadic but am glad for Skype where we can catch up more often than blogging.

I have to add my Aunty Pam - she is a great inspiration, I don't know if she has a blog but her scrapbooking, sewing and everything else is something to aspire to.

Lionel is an old work mate who shifted to England with his wife and family. Great to catch up and look forward to you coming home.

Although I haven't met Tim Holtz, his work is an inspiration and the video demonstrations are spot on.

Last but not least my work colleagues who inspire me in my hobbies, my exercise and much more...

How you will have to give me a few more days to think about the others.

WOW - what fun

Yes, I have finally tried track cycling...but will go again. Here are a few pics of last night.
Just starting off.
On the training boards...
Getting a little confidence...
The highest I went was the red line... My brother made it above the blue...
