Bluff Visit

This morning, I dropped some friends at the Stewart Island terminal to spend 4 days there. Well, what a hoot, the city slickers going to the Island...... If you look hard enough you might be able to see who they are on the boat.

I think I am pretty safe that they won't be reading this....I am to surprise them with my delightful presence on Thursday morning!!! HEHEHE

Visited Bluff lookout to catch up with more friends from Taranaki, then went out to the Drunken Sailor for Brunch. What a view today...well there was hardly a cloud in the sky!!!

Easter Saturday Travels

Yes, we set of on Easter Saturday about 9am to visit lots of little places on the way to Port Craig. Well...we didn't quite make it there.

A coffee shop with a lot of old nicknacks...went in just for looks. Although the secondhand bookshop got a little patronage.

The scienery was magnficant, just as if you were on the Hump Track except it only took two steps to get there.

Gemstone Beach..... say no more... they were awesome stones.

After a very bumpy ride, we arrived at the beach.... it was most enjoyable especially for the city sisters.

The sausages, onions, tomatos went down well.

Anderson's Park

The ladies went for a scenic tour around Anderson's Park. This is a historic building open for public viewing.

The daughter was married in this building. It has a soft floor for those who wish to dance.

The grounds are extensive and it has hard to believe that you are in the city when walking through this bush.

Southland Sunrise

While milking the other morning. The sun was rising and I just had to take several photos. My panoramic software isn't working so you will have to use your imagination.
