Carol and I visited the Dannevirke park for lunch today. There weren't only ducks but also these delightful chooks, which looked liked road runner when that were running.

Christmas Lights
Dannevirke had a Christmas Light competition. Following are some photos.
Santa has upgraded his form of travel, that is why the reindeers heads were moving - wondering where he was..... do they redundancy payouts!! I would have to say that they shouldn't worry, the Harley Davidson is all noise and no go ...so.... he would have to buy a Yamaha (yammi) or revert back to the old faithful.

A lady at work was to be mother of the bride and wanted a hair piece as she didn't suit a hat so made the two following pieces.
Update... since last blog - Out for Tea
Went to the usual Invercargill haunt for tea (at the Cabbage Tree). This was a desert that a friend ordered. Looked too good to eat.
